On reaching the venue of the Conference on the afternoon of September 27, student delegates were given a warm welcome by Mr. Raju Chowdhary and Mrs. Arti Chowdhary who had reached Ottawa a day earlier. The Conference with the theme ‘Bring Your Difference’, took off with a formal Opening Ceremony on the morning of September 28 with nearly a thousand delegates from all over the world in attendance who were given a warm welcome by Norman Southward, Head of Ashbury College. It was a special occasion for KCPS delegates since the school was officially inducted as a global member of the Round Square in the presence of King Constantine of Greece, President of Round Square, and his wife Queen Anne-Marie.
The schedule of the Conference after the opening ceremony consisted of several events and activities planned by the host school and spread over a period of five days. On the first day, both adult and student delegates listened to eminent personalities such as Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, wife of Canadian Prime Minister, during their interactive sessions which were followed by baraza group discussions by student delegates. Arti Chowdhary who had been invited to the Conference to give a presentation on the successful implementation of Round Square Discovery Framework (RSDF) at KC Public School held 2 sessions for adult delegates and received a positive response. The next 2 days engaged delegates in outdoor activities related to adventure and service during which they hiked in Parc Omega known for its wild life and enjoyed some adventurous

The conference concluded with a cultural evening on October 2 and a brief closing ceremony the next morning before delegates departed to their respective countries.
